Children of World Peace Initiative

Peace begins among the world's children.

Building a global movement connecting children, schools and political leaders to turn the hope for peace into collective action.

Children are not only the future of peace. They are part of creating it today.

One movement. Two pathways.

Schools create the movement. Political leaders help turn children's ideas into action.

Pathway 1

Global School Movement

Empowering children and connecting schools worldwide.

Every school can become a starting point for peace. Peace Schools practise peace in everyday life, mark Peace Day together and invite other schools to join.

Pathway 2

Political Engagement

Bringing children's voices into the places where decisions are made.

Political leaders are invited to listen to children, support dialogue and turn children's ideas for peace into action.

How the movement grows

Schools → Children's Voices → Political Dialogue → Real-World Action → More Schools

Schools create the movement. Children create the ideas. Political leaders help turn those ideas into action — and every result invites new schools and leaders to join.

How the movement grows A cycle of five stages: Schools, Children's Voices, Political Dialogue, Real-World Action and More Schools, which leads back to the start. One movement two pathways Schools Children's Voices Political Dialogue Real-World Action More Schools
Global School Movement Where the pathways meet Political Engagement
  1. More schools join the movement as Peace Schools — free of charge.
  2. More children work with peace and develop their own perspectives, questions and ideas.
  3. Children's perspectives are gathered and carried forward — safely and with consent.
  4. Political leaders are invited to listen, enter into dialogue and take concrete action.
  5. Results and experiences are shared across the international network.
  6. New schools and political leaders join — and the cycle grows stronger.
A world of Peace Schools

Every school can become a starting point for peace.

Each Peace School becomes a point of light on the map. Joining is free, and every school is invited to bring three more with it.

Children's voices matter

Children write the peace goals the world is missing.

Children in Peace Schools explore the question: What would it take for you — and every other child — to live in peace? Their answers become the Children's Peace Goals.

Our ambition is to offer the Children's Peace Goals as children's input to the United Nations in September 2028. The road to the United Nations →

The Children's Peace Pledge

A personal and voluntary commitment — not a party-political statement. Political leaders who support the pledge commit to five principles:

  1. Listen to children.
  2. Recognise children's perspectives on peace.
  3. Support opportunities for dialogue between children and decision-makers.
  4. Strengthen education and democratic participation as foundations for peace.
  5. Encourage cooperation across borders, cultures and communities.

Political Ambassadors

We are developing an international ambassador programme. Ambassadors will connect children and decision-makers, visit Peace Schools, listen to children's ideas and help carry them into political forums.

Our manifesto

Our values come first.

Children of World Peace is founded on human equality, children's rights and democratic participation. We work independently of party-political and religious interests.

We believe peace is created through conversations — about peace and about what can challenge it. Peace is a conscious effort.

Seek peace. Strengthen peace. Choose peace.

We want to strengthen children's skills, their will and their belief that they can help create peace — in their own communities and in the world.
